The critically acclaimed John Singleton brings a diverse
body of work to RedOrange USA. Singleton is the youngest person ever nominated
for Best Director (at age 24), and the first African-American to be nominated
for the award. A graduate of the University of Southern California's Filmic
Writing program, Singletons ability to direct resulted in an early beginning
in music videos, culminating in his work on Michael Jackson's "Remember the
Time" music video.

In addition to films like Boyz in the Hood,
Singleton is also known for his work on Shaft, 2 Fast 2 Furious and Four Brothers.
